GE Transformer |
GE has been a key player in the energy industry for
more than a century. Since the installation of
there first steam turbine in 1901. They have become
number one provider of high-technology power generation
equipment.
The President of GE, John Krenicki said, the
stability and growth of there business are possible in
part to there customers, suppliers, employees and
shareholders have confidence in us. "Doing what we say
we are going to do" and "being who we say we are" are
essential parts of this foundation. Being a leader in the industry he believes there
success is through fair, honest business dealings . GE
is a company with a worldwide reputation for upholding
the highest standards of business conduct, and
maintaining that reputation is critically important.
GE global service center provides expert on-site and
in-shop testing, repair, modernization and upgrade for
transformers. They can manager your transformer and
substation assets with the goal of minimizing cost and
downtime. They can help increase reliability, improve
profitability and reduce risk through transformer
condition assessment.
They can use computer-assisted engineering to
redesign the transformer to state-of-the-art condition,
optimizing cost-effectiveness and minimizing lead time.
History of GE
We could write pages on GE history
starting with Thomas Edison, but I thought the following
bite of history was interesting.
Before Ronald Reagan launched his career
in politics, he was well known to the American public as
the Sunday evening host of the top rated television
show, General Electric Theater. As the host,
Reagan was the prominent public face for GE.
The first two seasons of General
Electric Theater was popular plays, short stories and
motion pictures. Then, in the third season, GE began to
use the show as a means to educate viewers about the
breadth of GE's Businesses...with Ronald Reagan as the
voice.
Reagan took to the road, setting off on
a tour of twelve GE plant cities in 1954 promoting the
company people and products. By the time General
Electric Theater concluded its eight-year run in 1962,
Reagan was said to have visited GE's research and
manufacturing facilities, and met nearly 250,000
individuals.
Some of GE Products:

voltage of 600 Volts and below . The available Temp Rise is 55/65°C or
straight 65°C.
Liquid Filled Transformers

Liquid-filled transformers are designed for industrial
and commercial applications such as chemical, cement, manufacturing
plants, paper or steel mills, schools, hospitals, office buildings, etc.
Liquid-filled units use sealed-tank construction that effectively
contains the windings and most live parts in a controlled atmosphere.
When specified, less-flammable liquid-filled units may be installed
indoors.
